Swaying wheat in the summer breeze

Louise Adelborg created a porcelain service for every Swedish home when she designed the Swedish Grace series, which premiered at the Stockholm Exhibition in 1930. She managed to convey the feeling of golden wheat swaying in the summer wind, and the smell of freshly baked bread.
The grain of wheat can be seen as a symbol of nourishment, prosperity and nature. Louise´s elegant and deliacte expression has now become a symbol of Swedish Grace, and the service has a place in the heart of every Swedish home as well as it’s inhabitants.
