Skultuna has through the ages been pioneers of Swedish design. Carl Hjalmar Norrström was employed in 1896 and during his time at Skultuna received a number of awards, among them one for best design from the Paris world exhibit in 1900. Pierre Forsell worked as a designer at Skultuna during the 50s to 70s and became a leading design in spearing the Swedish modernism with his elegant designs. Today when design is in focus Skultuna continues this tradition in working with the leading designers of today like Claesson-Koivisto-Rune, Thomas Sandell and Olof Kolte.
