Northern Lighting - Mood as inspiration
The seasons vary dramatically in Norway, something which makes light very important for Norwegians. Everything from the midnight sun to the northern lights affects their vision of the moods that light can create. It is these moods which have created Northern Lighting, and which have inspired their designers to create a distinctive range of lamps.
Those who make these lamps are both young and up-and-coming talent and recognised designers. Despite their different levels of experience, they all have one thing in common: They are fiery souls who are fascinated by the mood-creating possibilities of light.
