Design inspired by Evy Westerberg-Lindqvist

The background to Leka-Sweden AB's product range is a fusion and development of the two collections KRISTINA created by furniture and interior designer, Evy Lindqvist Westerberg at the end of the 50s and school furniture collection BIRKA designed by  woodfurniture manufacturer and designer Torbjörn Ögren in the 70's. Both collections attracted much attention during its previous grandeur times.

LEKA is heavy, sturdy, shiny, well-made, thoughtful and carefully designed, constructed and merged down to the smallest assembly instructions! LEKA may a light chipboard furniture that is foiled with sharp edges feeling as it really should be ashamed of existing... LEKA want's to give children the best and that would be sufficient - and to be long, long time - perhaps even the entire life of a LEKA furniture can always be there - somewhere!
